Pedestrian bridges are no longer solely for the purpose of allowing people to across an area that would otherwise be unpassable. Modern pedestrian bridges are built to be an architectural tourist attraction. Many pedestrian bridges have architectural themes, some have colorful lighting, some have water features, others have fire features and some pedestrian bridges push the boundaries by combining all of these features.

The pedestrian bridges that are built to be an attention getting attraction are the bridges that fascinate me. Many pedestrian bridges are interesting in the day time but they are even more attractive at night. My post on pedestrian bridges will highlight the best features of the bridge whether it is during the daytime, night time or both if I think the bridges should be seen during the day and at night.
