The Canary Islands are a series of volcanic islands off the northwestern coast of Africa. Tenerife is the largest of the islands and is dominated by the dormant volcano Mt. Teide. Three of my recommendations for sites to visit in the Canary Islands are the Tenerife Auditorium and Parque Garcia Sanabria on the island of Tenerife and Caldera de Taburiente National Park on the island of La Palma.
