Taking a scenic journey may not be the immediate consideration when deciding where to travel on a vacation. Scenic journeys may include personal vehicle drives, buses, train travel and voyages on waterways, ocean vessels and river boats. Most vacations involve traveling to new destinations but taking a scenic journey offers more than just a convenient way to get from point A to point B. They provide a front-row seat to viewing beautiful landscapes between your destinations. Scenic journeys offer picturesque panoramas for many different types of nature. Some of the scenic journeys that I have taken have given me exclusive view for lush jungles, towering mountains, deserts, fjords, forests glaciers, lakes, volcanoes and unusual rock formations.
