Most places that I travel to have monuments built as a memorial or tribute to a special person or a special event that is important to the people of that location. Many times these monuments are in tribute to things or people that are world famous but sometimes they are built to local or regional things that may not be known to visitors.

Most of the monuments that I will be featuring will be of monuments that are of world famous significates but some monuments that I will feature may have impacted me in a way that I felt that I wanted to share them with everyone so they can be aware of these monuments and events.
