Da Nang is located on the coast in the center of the country and is my favorite city in Vietnam because it has a modern feel to it and there are a diversity of attractions to experience.

Da Nang is famous for having spectacular beaches but there is more to do in Da Nang than laying on the beach. During the day there is a variety of places to visit which includes the ancient site of My Son, religious sites, Son Tra Nature Reserve and escape the heat for the day at the Ba Na Hills amusement park. At night, the Han River literally comes to life with colorful bridges, fountains, boats and river front buildings all lighting up.

Da Nang is also a good location for day trips to visit Hoi An and Hue.
