Bridges are built for the purpose of providing transportation across a landscape that would otherwise be unpassable but some bridges are constructed architecturally to be an attraction. These are the bridges that I find intriguing.

Many bridges reflect the culture and time period that they were built. Other bridges are built to capture the history and culture of the location while many of the modern day bridges are built as a modern attraction to add to the landscape of the city. When I travel, I always seek out any bridges that are built with any of these characteristics.

When I make a post on a bridge, I will try to show it in the daylight and at night along with any architectural features that are special or that make the bride unique.
