The Dust on My Shoes
I always enjoy seeing urban art during my travels. The multi-colored umbrellas suspended above the pedestrian street is a creative urban art design that also lures people into Puerto Plata’s main tourist shopping district. Without the umbrellas many tourist might not come to this part of town.
Practically every tourist will take a few photos with the umbrellas. After that there are shops to wander through, restaurants and bars to try to local flavors but mostly it is a nice place to hang out and have a good time.
