The Great Barrier Reef is listed as one of the seven wonders of the natural world by UNESCO World Heritage for a good reason. It stretches over 1800 miles, covers an area of 344,400 square kilometres and is home to over 1500 species of fish. Visiting the Great Barrier Reef is one of my top travel experiences and the only way to describe is that it is like watching a rainbow of colorful fish swimming in and out of coral islands.
