On the Surface . . .
There are 20 countries in Latin America which includes South America, Central America and Mexico.
One of my favorite reasons for traveling is to experience the amazing cultures around the world. One of the things that I like the most about Latin American cultures is the passion that the Latin American people have for their art, music, dance, festivals and food. All of the Latin American countries have a strong passion for their culture but there are several distinctive cultures within Latin America.
Two of the top feature of Latin America are that it is rich in natural beauty which includes a multitude of natural wonders and it is home to 40 percent of the world’s wildlife species.
Latin America has some world famous sites to visit but any trip to Latin America should include experiencing its scenic nature and remarkable wildlife.
Famous Places
Latin America has many famous places to visit which include natural wonders, religious sites, unmatched wildlife and unexplained archaeological sites from cultures that mysteriously vanished. The list below are some of the most famous places in Latin America.
Although these are the most famous sites in Latin America, there are hundreds of places to see that most people have never heard of but are amazing places to experience. I will be posting on my experiences in the famous places in Latin America and I will also be sharing my experiences at many places in Latin America that I am sure that most people have never heard of but would enjoy seeing if they knew they existed.
My Experience in Latin America
Out of the 20 Latin American countries I have visited 10 of them, so far. I have made 14 trips to Mexico alone and 10 trips to other Latin American countries. In those trips I have seen many of the most famous sites in Latin America and many places that I didn’t know much about until I visited them.
The things that comes to my mind when I think about Latin American are adventure, bright colors, ruins from ancient civilizations, Catholic Churches, incredible nature (beaches, mountains, volcanoes, jungles and rain forests) and an amazing amount of wildlife. A large amount of Latin America’s nature is still raw and unspoiled. Some of my experiences in Latin America have allowed me to venture into areas that were extremely rugged and physically difficult but these experiences have been some of my most memorable travel experience.
I always enjoy seeing Latin America’s archaeological sites but I am lured to Latin America to see wonderful nature and incredible wildlife.
