Cao Bang Province is located directly north of Hanoi along the Chinese border. The province is mountainous and home to many ethnic hill tribes.
The most famous attraction in Cao Bang is the Ban Gioc Waterfall that is fed by the Quay Son River on the border with China. Nearby the waterfall is the Nguom Ngao Cave that is filled with stalactites and rock formations.
Most visitors to the Ban Gioc Waterfall stay in the town of Cao Bang and make a day trip to the falls.
I will be making more posts on things to do in the Cao Bang Province, so check back later to see my future posts.
