There are over 45,000 species of spiders worldwide. Spiders are predatory creatures with eight legs, spin silk from the back portion of their body and have fangs that they use to inject venom into their prey. Virtually all spiders are poisonous, even the little ones.
There are nearly 2 million species of wildlife that are part of the other categories which I have covered in this website and remarkably there are species that don’t fit into any of these categories. These species are what I call “Other Creatures”.
Spiders and other creatures are probably the strangest groups of wildlife but they are also the group that I spend the least amount of time observing. I really don’t try to find these creatures but sometimes I discover them when exploring other places and of course I will take a few photos just to remember what I saw.
I may not take time looking for spiders and other creatures but they normally don’t move quickly so there is plenty of time to take a good look at them after I say “what is that?”.
